Walking from Downtown San Antonio to Maverick Texas Brasserie
If you’re visiting Downtown San Antonio or staying near the River Walk, you can enjoy a beautiful, easy stroll to Maverick Texas Brasserie in the King William Historic District. Starting at The Alamo, head south along South Alamo Street, crossing over the River Walk. You’ll pass the charming La Villita Historic Village and the beautiful green spaces of Hemisfair Park.
From there, turn right onto E César E. Chávez Boulevard and then left onto South Presa Street. In about 15 minutes, you’ll arrive at Maverick! A scenic walk that takes you through some of San Antonio’s most iconic downtown spots before you step into the heart of Southtown’s dining scene.
